As the Development Associate, Johnson assists with all aspects of the development process such as market research, financial analysis, design, and construction. His primary responsibility is supporting the office and retail leasing work associated with Camp North End. Johnson previously worked as the Downtown Development Manager for the City of Concord, NC; Executive Director of Concord Downtown Development Corporation; and Planning Director for the Town of Troy, North Carolina. His previous experience allowed him to explore a passion for creative placemaking and adaptive reuse that led him to Camp North End.
Johnson hails from Hickory, North Carolina. He received his undergraduate degrees in Public and Urban Affairs from Virginia Tech and a Master of Public Administration from Appalachian State University. In his spare time, Johnson enjoys reading books, trying new recipes, listening to true crime podcasts, and exploring local shops and restaurants.
