It’s time to channel your inner artist and add a touch of glam! In this class, local abstract artist Kelly Aiken of Copeley Designs will walk you step-by-step through the process of creating your own vibrant and bold abstract painting complete with accents of gold leafing. She’ll cover color mixing, brush and palette knife techniques, and offer tips & tricks for creating art that works for your personal style. By the end of class, you’ll have your own custom 16×20″ work of art to take home and show off!

MATERIALS

SkillPop is happy to provide the materials needed for class, but please note that this class can get a bit messy! Feel free to bring an apron or smock, otherwise please wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty.

If you’re aiming for a specific design or look, we recommend bringing inspiration photos saved to your phone as a starting point.
