Live from the Boileryard: Emanuel Wynter + Council Ring
Join us at Camp North End on Friday, November 17 for a FREE show featuring Emanuel Wynter + Council Ring! Music begins at 6pm.
EMANUEL WYNTER: Hailing from Charlotte, classically trained violinist and songwriter Emanuel Wynter is taking ears and stages by storm with a distinctive sound and a lively, high-spirited stage presence that is infectious to everyone in the room. Taking influence from artists such as Anthony Hamilton, Leon Bridges, and Gary Clark Jr., Emanuel’s sound is a unique, vibrant, and expressive blend of R&B and Rock that manages to be raw in emotion and refined, sonically. He finds a way to sing, not only through rich and soulful vocals, but through his electrifying violin playing that is, at times, quite reminiscent of electric guitar. With dynamic musicianship and sincere lyricism, Emanuel Wynter is sure to keep your toes tapping and your soul singing.
COUNCIL RING: Fronted by a powerful lead vocalist and driven by thrilling instrumentation, Council Ring is a mix of psychedelic soul and accessible songwriting.
The band formed at the end of 2020: when the mood of the world turned towards fear and uncertainty, guitarist Ty Mattox and bassist Matt Kavanaugh turned towards music and creativity. Joined by Quint Gallaher on drums, Ian Hirsch on keyboards, and Chris Jan on vocals and guitar, they began performing their own taste of rock music. For Council Ring, the journey is the destination, and there is always something new to learn.
