Diasporic Dream/Landing: Opening Reception

Join us Friday 5/26 from 6 to 9pm for the opening of the first of Goodyear Arts’ 2023 guest-curated shows. Diasporic Dream/Landing is a group exhibition curated by Jamila Brown (@milazul) that explores sacred entry points into ancestral histories and Afrofuture(s). It examines how these points draw on the power of the body, lineal memory, diasporic traditions, and networks of communication. The exhibition encourages us to traverse what once was, what is, and what’s readying itself to become again.
