Camp North End: Fall Landscaping Tour
Join us for a guided walk on the wild side through Camp North End’s exciting native plant landscape! The exuberance of summer is waning, grasses are maturing, summer flowers are setting seed, and the landscape is taking on the mellow hues of the fall season just around the corner.
The vision for Camp’s landscape is to enliven the built environment with plantings in motion: plants that move in the breeze, plants that move by seeding themselves about and plantings that move people to think about landscape in a different way.
Nancy Duffy, a part of our landscape design team, will take a small group on an hour-long walking tour through our site, highlighting the beauty of our prairie plantings and discussing the sustainable horticultural practices in use in the Camp North End’s landscape.
Limited to 12 people, first come first served.
The tour will be offered on Friday, September 8th at the following times (rain or shine):
10:30 am – 11:30 am
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Space is limited to 12 people per tour, please register in advance.
