BOOM Charlotte 2023

BOOM 2023 will be the 6th year of the annual arts festival. The festival will be back to its three-day run in 2023. Save the dates of April 21-23 for a multifaceted art experience.

Started by a group of Charlotte artists in 2016, the BOOM festival quickly grew into one of the largest, most diverse, multidisciplinary creative gatherings in Charlotte. Featuring all mediums from chalk art to classical music, from aerial dance to slam poetry, it became the unique coming together of the whole creative ecosystem of Charlotte.

After a 2-year break in 2020 and 21, we brought it back at a slightly smaller scale in April 2022. We are excited at the prospect of scaling it back up to its pre-pandemic size – and maybe bigger!
