Jessie Dunks at Camp North End
This event is FREE & open to the public. Doors at 5pm with The Collection to follow at 7:30pm.
Born and raised in Oak Ridge, NC, Jessie leaned on songwriting as away to stand out amongst her ten siblings. Her parents noticed her inclination to playing guitar when she started making guitars out of cereal boxes and rubber bands at age 5. Queen, Meatloaf, and Prince were all staples of the family’s musical choices, but in her more influential years, Jessie leaned into artist such as Damien Rice, Conor Oberst, and Ray Lamontagne. The inspiration she drew from these artists shaped her music into an earthy and intimate style all her own.
After years of songwriting and self discovery, Jessie released a five song EP in 2020 called “Hiccups.” Listen here.
